A all-powerful side dish next on the order of any meat. My grandmother used to make this using Swiss cheese. Ive found that using Fontina cheese adds better spread without those Swiss cheese strings.

  1. 1 tablespoon butter
  2. 18 slices bacon
  3. 1u2009u00bd pounds baking potatoes, peeled and sliced
  4. 1u2009u00bc cups shredded fontina cheese
  5. salt and pepper to taste

The instruction how to make Bacon, Potato and Cheese sharp sour

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. Coat an 8 inch round baking dish similar to the butter. Arrange bacon in a spiral fashion in the baking dish, draping ends of the slices beyond the pan edge to fold beyond filling.
  3. Arrange 1/3 of the potatoes higher than bacon, and sprinkle considering 1/3 Fontina cheese. Repeat layers following long-lasting potatoes and cheese, and season when salt and pepper. Fold bacon beyond filling to form the upper layer.
